
The Valais Blacknose is a heritage breed originating in Switzerland, known for it's striking appearance, calm temperament, and exceptional fiber. With their distinctive black markings and gentle nature, they are both eye-catching and practical additions to thoughtfully managed breeding programs. They're also known as the cutest sheep in the world!

At Heritage Hill Homestead, our focus is on developing a carefully selected Valais Blacknose herd rooted in strong genetics, structural correctness, and temperament. We are committed to intentional growth, long-term herd development, and preserving the integrity of the breed.
Our foundation animals have been selected with future breeding potential in mind as we work toward continued program refinement and expansion.

PV Athena is a registered purbred Valais Blacknose ewe and a cornerstone of our developing program. Bred by WIld Rose Farm in Washington, she represents strong foundational genetics and correct breed type. We are excited to see her continued contribution to the refinement and growth of our herd.

Daisy is a confirmed pregnant F1 Valais Blacknose ewe selected for her structure, temperament, and future breeding potential. She plays an important role in the early development of our program as we work toward long-term herd advancement. She is a Teesewater base and registered with the VBSS.

Lucy is a confirmed pregnant F1 Valais Blacknose ewe chosen for her balance and calm disposition. She represents an important step in the thoughtful expansion of our breeding program as we continue building with intention.
