Eveland Farms Enchanting Calypso

Calypso is our beloved herd matriarch and one of the best milkers on the farm! Her milk is rich, delicious, and so creamy that even the kids request her milk by neame-they say it tatstes just like cows milk. Calypso blessed us with twin doelings in 2024 who inherited her stunning color and sweet, gentle temperament.

Dot has lovely breed character in a small package, which is one of the things we are striving for. She has a sweet, friendly personality, gets along well with her herd mates and has perfect milk stand manners. She easily earned her production star on a 1-day milk test as a 2nd freshener and in 2024, at the age of 5, she re-earned her AR star in both production and butterfat on 305-day test. Dot has an enviable udder. Beautifully attached, wide udder arch, perfectly placed teats, and easy-to-milk orifices. She also has correct conformation. She placed 3rd in the spring 2022 MDGA V-Show, and then took Reserve Champion Senior Doe at the 2024 PNWMDGC Summer Sensational Show in Longview, WA.
